Week of May 12, 2012 Billboard Top Gospel Songs Chart: Fred Hammond Takes the #1 Spot, Pastor Charles Jenkins Enters Top 10

This week in the world of radio we have a new entry to the top 10. Pastor Charles Jenkins & Fellowship Chicago reaches #10 with their song, Awesome. Fred Hammond’s I Feel Good takes the #1 spot from Andrae Crouch & Marvin Winans’ Let The Church Say Amen, which is now #2.

 

The next three songs in the top 10 all maintain their same positions as last week. Marvin Sapp’s My Testimony is #3, William McDowell’s I Won’t Go Back is #4 and Zacardi Cortez & John P. Kee’s One More Time is #5. One More Time is featured on Zacardi’s upcoming, highly anticipated debut album.

JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise’s After This jumps two spots to #6 followed by James Fortune & FIYA’s Still Able at #7, after being on the chart for 37 weeks. Closing out the top 10 is Jessica Reedy’s Put It On The Altar at #8 and Jason Nelson’s Shifting The Atmosphere at #9.
