Week of March 31, 2012 Billboard Top Gospel Songs Chart: James Fortune & FIYA’s “Still Able” #1 Again, JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise Re-Enters Top 10

In the world of radio, we see a few minor changes to the top 10 Gospel songs in the country. However, we do have two Light Records artists re-entering the top 10. JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise is #9 with After This followed by Sunday Best Finalist Jessica Reedy with Put It On The Altar at #10. Still at #1 is James Fortune & FIYA with Still Able, from their chart topping album, Identity.

Two more noticeable changes on the chart is Fred Hammond’s I Feel Good jumping to #4 and Isaac Carree’s In The Middle dropping to #8. Gospel Veterans Andrae Crouch and Marvin Winans make a small jump to #2 with Let The Church Say Amen. While William McDowell makes a small drop to #3 with I Won’t Go Back.

Marvin Sapp’s My Testimony seems comfortable in the middle of the chart, reaching #5 this week, which is also the song’s peak position. I Need Your Glory by Earnest Pugh drops one spot to #6 after 45 weeks in the top 10 on Billboard. Following is the last song to complete the top 10 this week, One More Time by Zacardi Cortez and John P. Kee at #7.
