This week on Billboard we see a few changes to the lineup of the top 10 Gospel Albums. The most noticeable change is Sunday Best winner, Le’Andria Johnson debuting her sophomore album, The Evolution of Le’Andria Johnson at #4. This is ironic because her debut album, The Awakening of Le’Andria Johnson follows at #5. Another surprise on the chart is Brian Courtney Wilson’s latest project, So Proud, dropping from #1 to #8.
WOW Gospel 2012 is now the #1 Gospel Album in the country! James Fortune & FIYA’s Identity is slowly climbing the chart, reaching #2 this week. Will the album be #1 next week? God, Love & Romance, Fred Hammond’s latest album, remains at #3. Meanwhile, The Joyful Noise Soundtrack for the motion picture drops to #6, after peaking at #1.
William McDowell’s Arise: The Live Worship Experience drops one spot to #7 while Kirk Franklin’s Hello Fear drops one spot to #9. Finally, closing out the top 10 at #10 is LeCrae with his critically acclaimed album, Rehab.
