Week of June 30, 2012 Billboard Top Gospel Albums Chart: Pastor Charles Jenkins & Fellowship Chicago Debut at #1

 

There aren’t any major changes on the chart this week. But, we congratulate Charles Jenkins & Fellowship Chicago for debuting at #1 with their album, The Best of Both Worlds. Their debut pushed Mary Mary’s Go Get It to #2 and Marvin Sapp’s I Win to the #3 spot. After 38 weeks, Andraé Crouch is #4 on the chart with The Journey.

Having spent close to the same amount of time as The Journey on the chart, 32 weeks, Arise: The Live Worship Experience by William McDowell comes in at #5. WOW Gospel 2012 is #6 followed by Jason Nelson with Shifting The Atmosphere at #7.

 

James Fortune & FIYA’s Identity is #8 and is the only album, besides Shifting The Atmosphere, to make a jump on the chart this week. Zacardi Cortez’s The Introduction continues to fall on the chart, dropping to #9. Finally, the Joyful Noise Soundtrack drops to #10, concluding the top 10 albums this week.
