Week of July 07, 2012 Billboard Top Gospel Songs Chart: Chales Jenkins Remains #1, Tamela Mann & Byron Cage Climbing to the Top

 

Tamela Mann continues to climb the chart with her latest single featuring Kirk Franklin, Take Me To The King, jumping to #8. Byron Cage enters the top 10 at #10 with Great And Mighty, a song featured on his new album, Memoirs Of A Worshipper, which debuted at #3 this week. Those two are pretty much the only changes we see on the chart this week besides William McDowell dropping to #9 with I Won’t Go Back.

Pastor Charles Jenkins & Fellowship Chicago’s new “Christian Anthem”, Awesome, remains at #1, while their album, The Best Of Both Worlds, remains at #1 on the Top Gospel Albums Chart. Let The Church Say Amen by Andrae Crouch featuring Marvin Winans remains at #2 after 37 weeks on the chart. Following Andrae is Marvin Sapp’s My Testimony at #3.

Jason Nelson remains at #4 with Shifting The Atmosphere, followed by Mary Mary’s Go Get It at #5, which is the song’s highest position on the chart thus far. After This by JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise is still #6 and finally, concluding the top #10 is Fred Hammond’s I Feel Good at #7.
