Week of February 18, 2012 Billboard Top Gospel Albums Chart: Fred Hammond Debuts at #1 With God, Love & Romance

 

Fred Hammond debuts at #1 this week with his new project God, Love & Romance. WOW Gospel 2012, a compilation album featuring songs from artists such as Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Isaac Carree, Kim Burrell and plenty more, jumps to #2. James Fortune & FIYA’s debut album on Fortune’s new record label, FIYA World Music,Identity, drops to #3.

Joyful Noise, the soundtrack to the motion picture Joyful Noise, is #4, followed by Le’Andria Johnson with her debut album, The Awakening of Le’Andria Johnson, jumping to #5. William McDowell’s Arise: The Live Worship Experience drops one spot to #6, followed by  After being on the chart for 46 weeks, Kirk Franklin’s Hello Fear is still in the top 10 at #7.

Gospel Hip Hop Recording Artist LeCrae is still going strong in the top 10 at #8 with his album, Rehab, after an impressive 71 weeks! Sunday Best Finalist Jessica Reedy re-enters the top 10 at #9 with her debut album  From The Heart. Finally, closing out the top 10 is Marvin Sapp with Playlist: The Very Best Of Marvin Sapp remaining at #10.
