Week of April 21, 2012 Billboard Top Gospel Songs Chart: Fred Hammond Is #1 With “I Feel Good”, William McDowell Drops to #3

In the world of radio, we don’t see too many changes to the top 10 besides a few switching of positions. The first change is Fred Hammond’s I Feel Good taking the #1, forcing William McDowell’s I Won’t Go Back to drop to #3. Between them is Marvin Sapp, jumping from #5 to #2 with My Testimony. Sapp’s latest album, I Win, is also doing well after debuting at #1 on the Top Gospel Albums Chart.

The next two songs both drop two spots from their positions last week. Let The Church Say Amen by Andrae Crouch and Marvin Winans drops to #4 and James Fortune & FIYA’s Still Able drops to #5. Zacardi Cortez and John P. Kee’s One More Time flip-flops with Jessica Reedy’s Put It On The Altar, as Zacardi is #6 this week and jessica is #7.

Finally, the last three songs to complete the top 10 are the only songs that made no movement on the chart. J.J. Hairston and Youthful Praise remains at #8 with After This, Earnest Pugh remains at #9 with I Need Your Glory and J Moss remains at #10 with Good & Bad.
