“Barks, Squalls and Altar Calls” was created because Torrence feels there is currently a void for choir music in radio programming. As a choir music lover, he believes choir music isn’t played as much as it should be on Gospel Radio. Now is the perfect time for the show because, as Torrence always says, choir music is now.

“Barks, Squalls and Altar Calls” will air every Thursday at 1 pm EST on uGospelRadio.com. Make sure you tune in to be inspired, uplifted and encouraged in only a way that choir music can!

Torrence Glenn has spent close to 15 years in the entertainment industry with stints at CNN and Comedy Central before assuming his current role as Director of Gospel and Specials Programming at BET Digital, where he oversees digital content creation and production for BET Specials like BET Awards, Celebration Of Gospel, Black Girls Rock and gospel shows Sunday Best and Bobby Jones Gospel, Torrence is also an on-air correspondent and blogger on BET.com with “The Gospel According To Torrence.”
