The Women’s Choir Of Temple Of Deliverance Rejoices in Song With New CD, “In The Sanctuary”

templeOne listen to “Everybody Praise”, the lead single by the Temple of Deliverance Women’s Choir, and it’s clear that these gifted women know how to give God praise.  Featuring lead vocalist Carla Tolbert Taylor, the Billboard-charting song has introduced the choir of over 200 women to the Gospel music industry.  The group hails from the renowned Temple of Deliverance COGIC in Memphis, founded by the late Bishop G.E. Patterson.  Continuing the church’s musical legacy, the Women’s Choir is prepping the release of the full project, Pastor Milton R. Hawkins Presents The Temple Of Deliverance Women’s Choir Live: In The Sanctuary.  The new CD will be available in retail outlets and online on Tuesday, November 5, 2013.

In addition to the first single, “Everybody Praise”, the musical collection contains other rousing and worship-filled tracks.  The 12-track CD includes songs such as “Breakthrough”, the toe-tapping, church jam executed flawlessly by the iconic Karen Clark Sheard, and the soothing, jazzy “Keep Me Everyday”, led by popular songstress Lisa Page Brooks.  Also, chart-topping singer Tamela Mann lends her exquisite vocals to the memorable “Have Your Own Way (In The Sanctuary)”.  Temple of Deliverance’s Pastor, Milton R. Hawkins inspires listeners with scriptural excerpts in the riveting “Armed and Dangerous”.
