The Stellar Awards Annual Salute To Gospel Music Premieres on TV ONE Sunday, April 9th! Hosted By Erica Campbell and Anthony Brown

Celebrate Palm Sunday with TV One and Gospel music’s brightest stars when the 32nd Annual Stellar Awards premieres on Sunday, April 9 at a NEW TIME, 6 p.m. ET (encores at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET).In addition, the Stellar Awards will air in national broadcast syndication on 170 stations in over 150 markets around the country from April 15 – May 7, 2017.

Hosted by Gospel superstar, television and radio personality Erica Campbell and chart-topping artist Anthony Brown, some of the biggest names in Gospel are being added to the growing list of performers and presenters appearing on the telecast. The Stellar Awards tapes in front of a live audience on Saturday, March 25 at the Las Vegas Orleans Arena and is open to the public. For ticket information, visit www.stellarawards.org.

ABOUT THE STELLAR AWARDS
Hailed as an “epic night in gospel music,” praise and worship breakthrough artist Travis Greene and chart-topping soloist, Tamela Mann lead this year’s Stellar Awards nominations with nine each. The telecast will feature powerful worship performances by the genre’s top acts, including Tamela Mann, Kirk Franklin, Shirley Caesar, Jekalyn Carr, Fred Hammond, Travis Greene, VaShawn Mitchell, Tasha Cobbs, Bizzle,Canton Jones, Da’ Truth, JJ Hairston and Youthful Praise, Doug Williams, Keith “Wonderboy” Johnson & Da Chozen Brothaz, and many more.

Stellar Awards Founder, Don Jackson will bestow special honors upon gospel legend, Spencer Taylor (of the Highway QC’s) this year’s recipient of the James Cleveland Lifetime Achievement Award and the Ambassador Dr. Bobby Jones Legends Award honoree, the legendary Reverend Clay Evans. Stellar Honors Hall of Fame Inductees include:  Fred Hammond, Mississippi Mass Choir and Dr. Leonard Scott.
