The Aftermath of Jekalyn Carr’s Live Recording


The response has been overwhelming from Jekalyn Carr’s, first live recording.  Everyone that attended has nothing but great reviews.   The Life Project is expected to be Jekalyn Carr’s biggest project ever by Lunjeal Music Group. She drew people from all over, as they packed out the venue to attend Jekalyn’s first live recording.   A lot of industry people attended her live recording on that evening and many has already picked out their favorites from the songs, that she released, for the first time, on that night.  One of the top songs, that everyone was really impacted by was called “You’re Bigger”, there was such a breakthrough that happened as she ministered “You’re Bigger.
This was an intimate night for Jekalyn and her guest, as they were able to experience her, one on one and many for the first time.  She were so vehement, on that night and the expectations of the people were exceeded, as she performed in such a way, that really showed her maturity in her gift, ministry and performance presentation.  The people were astounded as Jekalyn song one after another heart felt and touching songs.  People are in great anticipation, for this new album, that will be released by Jekalyn Carr soon.

Jekalyn Carr is experiencing success illuminative of the divine presence of God’s grace in her life. A classic example of the conspicuous special anointing operating in Carr’s life is when she was just 15, she had a song, “Greater is Coming,” to a appear in the top ten of Billboards’ gospel music chart, debuting at #3. As a testament Jekalyn has received her first Stellar Award at the age of 16. On Oct 6th, 2014, Carr released her second national album, It’s Gonna Happen, putting her in rarified air: being one of few artists to have two national albums on the market before the age of 18. Jekalyn has received many accolades in her youth and a number of the U.S. cities have honored her by giving her official proclamations and keys to the cities.

Jekalyn was featured in a documentary, Rejoice and Shout (2010), produced by Magnolia Pictures, where she opened the documentary singing “Amazing Grace.” The documentary also spotlighted Smokey Robinson, Andrae Crouch, Kirk Franklin, and many other prominent artists. Although she’s young, Carr is no stranger to being in the company of music greats. By the age of 9, she had already performed on various platforms with Shirley Ceasar, Marvin Sapp, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Myron Butler, Micah Stampley, and other reputable gospel artists. She has performed and ministered on the Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN), The Word Network and BET’s The Bobby Jones Gospel Show and Sundays Best.
