Tennessee 4th Mass Choir Releases Sophomore Project, Excitement Of Praise, On All Digital Outlets Today

Under the Jurisdictional leadership of Bishop Jerry L. Maynard (who oversees 38 churches), The Tennessee 4th Mass Choir releases their sophomore project EXCITEMENT OF PRAISE live in Memphis, TN (Jelama Media Group) on all digital outlets today. The street date comes at the tail end of the 110th COGIC Holy Convocation in St. Louis, where Bishop Jerry L Maynard was recognized as the newly elected Vice Chairman of the General Assembly of the Church of God in Christ.

Appointed as Senior Pastor of Cathedral of Praise Church by the late Bishop GE Patterson in 1993, Bishop Jerry L. Maynard, a pioneer in ministry, states, “It is my prayer that this project will be a blessing to all who will listen and that many lives will be touched and even transformed by the anointing that rests on every song.”

The choir’s lead single “God’s Been So Good to Me,” which reached Top 30 on Mediabase Gospel Airplay chart and Top 40 on Billboard’s Gospel Airplay chart, continues to gain traction at radio. The single was also BDS’ Most Added and Most Increased Airplay track and was the FLAT-OUT hit of the week on the nationally syndicated Willie Moore Jr. Showlast week.

The album features Derrick ‘The Maestro’ Jackson on keys, powerhouse soloists Carla Tolbert Taylor and Kathy Taylor, and laces in the smooth vocals of the late Shea Norman. Bridging the contemporary praise and worship rhythms of today’s music with songs such as “The Report” and “Great God” with the traditional anointing of old-time church found in the tune “Thank You Jesus,” it serves as a solid reminder of God’s grace, goodness, and love for all those who take a listen.
