A native of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Dy’Jah is beyond excited about the release of Stay Up. The song is starting to generate an early buzz online and will impact airwaves soon.
Dy’Jah states “To create music that inspires my peers is an incredible blessing that I don’t take for granted. I always wanted my music to speak life and be relevant to my situation and people I’m around, so it’s great to see it resonate with my generation.”
Dy’Jah celebrated the release of Stay Up in Houston, TX with a live on-air concert at KCOH. Although Dy’Jah is young, she has garnered notable achievements in her tender musical career. In 2015, she co-wrote her first inspirational single entitled “Hey Friend,” which impacted 700+ Christian radio stations across the country. Additionally, she has been featured on Bobby Jones Gospel and Gospel of The South Vol. 1, a collection of great gospel music from independent recording artists based in the Southern region of the U.S. Recently, Dy’Jah was nominated at the 2017 Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards (TGMEA), a national celebratory event designed to honor and pay tribute to independent gospel artists throughout the country. Dy’Jah was awarded Up-and-Coming Artist of the Year.
Be sure to download “Stay Up,” the new single from Dy’Jah, which is available at all digital music outlets. Also, be on the lookout for the release of her forthcoming new EP, scheduled to release later this year.
