Stellar Award Winning Artist & Producer Phillip Carter Releases New Holiday Single, “Christmas Is A Special Time Of Year”

Phillip Carter is one of the gospel music industry’s most popular artists.  The Stellar Award winner is a gifted producer, arranger, musician, songwriter, vocalist, choir director and artist.  The multi-talented Carter, along with his ensemble, Sounds of Victory, received a 2010 Stellar Award for Fan Favorite Choir of the Year.  In addition to leading his own group, Carter is the owner of Sounds of Victory record label and the founder of the Independent Gospel Artists Alliance Conference. Now, just in time for the holidays, the anointed composer has recently released a brand new single entitled, “Christmas Is A Special Time Of Year”.

The festive single, “Christmas Is A Special Time Of Year”, is a musical reminder of the sparkle of the season.  Bringing to mind what makes this time of year so amazing, the ballad features of the vocals of Carter and soprano Ana Gibson.  He penned the track himself and has been holding on to the song for years now.  “I wrote the song while teaching at the Parkdale High School in the 90’s while preparing for a Holiday Concert for the School at the time,” says the artist. “I wanted to write a song that expressed the joy of sharing during Christmas while keeping the original meaning in tact”.  The single has been serviced to radio and is available on iTunes, Amazon and CDBaby.
