Noted veteran producer, songwriter, vocalist, and Minister of the Gospel, Isaiah D. Thomas began to embark upon what is now a successful career in the ministry of music at the young age of 10 years old. In January 2007, as a distinguished songwriter, Thomas captured the hearts of the gospel industry and proudly accepted his first Stellar Award for “Song of the Year”, “I Will Bless The Lord” recorded by Byron Cage.
In January 2008, Isaiah D. Thomas and his group, Elements of Praise, won the Stellar Award for “Contemporary Choir of the Year” and in April of 2008, Thomas shared the stage with the likes of Aaron Shust and Jars of Clay as he received the prestigious BMI Christian Award for the most played gospel song (“I Will Bless The Lord”) in 2007.
On Tuesday, May 26 Isaiah Thomas will release his new single “He Wouldn’t Let Me Go” featuring April Hall. This beautiful, mid-tempo, worship ballad is a song about thankfulness and the inspiration came from Psalm 91:18“When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.”
