The seventh episode premiere telecasts Sunday night reached 1.4 million unduplicated viewers, tying it as the second most-watched program in the network’s history with two other episodes of Saints & Sinners. The 9:00 p.m. ET telecast became the most-watched program in Bounce TV’s history among total viewers, delivering 720,000 Persons 2+ while also posting the highest audience peak of the series to-date with 799,000 total viewers.
Bounce TV ranked second among all ad-supported cable networks in the delivery of African Americans 2+ on Sunday night with Saints & Sinners behind only the NBA Playoffs on TNT. Bounce TV also beat BET among P25-54 (+36%), W25-54 (+22%) and total viewers (+15%) in Prime.
Saints & Sinners centers around the pursuit of power, intertwined with greed, deception, corruption and murder – all set against the backdrop of a large southern church. The series stars Vanessa Bell Calloway, Christian Keyes, Keith Robinson, Clifton Powell, Gloria Reuben, J.D. Williams, Jasmine Burke, Afemo Omilami and Richard Lawson. Bounce TV has renewed Saints & Sinners for a second season, which will premiere in the first quarter of 2017.
Bounce TV is the only emerging broadcast network producing original scripted series. The second season of the network’s hit sitcom Mann & Wife is currently seen Tuesday nights at 9:00 p.m. ET.
