Pastor Mike, Jr. Tops Mediabase and Billboard Year End Chart Inbox

Blacksmoke Music Worldwide Recording Artist Pastor Mike, Jr. capped off 2020 with the designation of Big, his blockbuster hit single from the debut album Live Free as the Top Gospel Airplay song by Billboard and Mediabase on its year end charts.

“WOW, God just continues to do great things, and I am glad about it”, states Pastor Mike, Jr. “While we experienced some tragedies and trauma that we wouldn’t want to go through last year, we also learned very valuable lessons, Big challenged us in the midst of the mess, to change our way of thinking and not only look for a miracle, but to declare it in spite of the present circumstances.  My right now is not my end, we have to live with expectation that the same God that brought us to it is the same God with the same power that can carry us through it. Jesus, the same yesterday, today and forevermore.  The power that raised Jesus from the dead is the same power that will raise us out of dead situations and give us a NEW HOPE.”

Blacksmoke CEO Kerry Douglas added, “The testimonies we heard that poured in of people declaring healing and breakthrough was very rewarding.  We don’t just make music to make music, we want it to reach people where they are and give them hope.  When I put together Gospel Mix 11, I wanted to make sure that the songs were not just hit songs but conveyed a deliberate message that God can save and heal.  Congrats again, Pastor Mike, Jr. Seeing Big come to fruition is a reward in itself.”

Pastor Mike, Jr. took home two Stellar Awards in addition to unforgettable performances on the Stellar Awards and Dove Awards telecasts.  Pastor Mike, Jr. continues to make waves at radio with his latest single I Got It, while Big continues to be a source of encouragement for the masses.
