Almost 10 years after winning the Stellar Award Gospel Star Search Competition in 2004, Stampley’s latest musical offering is his best work to date. His sixth CD Love Never Fails (Motown Gospel/Interface Entertainment) scheduled for release on November 12 features 11 powerful tracks that highlights God’s never ceasing and unfailing love. Love is a remarkable gift given to all creation and that’s the theme of that’s lovingly woven throughout the body of work.
The first single, “Our God,” written by Chris Tomlin is an amazing song that unifies and defies. This song is being sung in various languages in churches every Sunday morning. Stampley’s rendering is touching, heartfelt and personal. “This song helped me through a very difficult time when my daughter was hospitalized and in semi-coma,” says Micah. ‘We Will Praise You” and “Oh Give Thanks” (both penned by Micah and Heidi Stampley along with producer Aaron Lindsey) are songs with elevated energy that expresses our love for God and His love, mercy and grace shown toward us.
“Let the Church Rise” is timely and empowering tune with the potential of becoming an anthem for churches around the world. It is a song written to provoke the people of God to not bend or compromise, but to stand for what is right. “You Raise Me Up” is familiar tune made popular by singer Josh Groban, but Stampley added the song as a personal dedication to all his supporters, especially the people God used to help make him a better man, husband, father, son and mentor. Love never Fails is a collection of songs listeners will embrace and play over and over to be uplifted, encouraged and empowered.
