The Lonnie Hunter Variety Show will begin airing Saturdays from 9-10 p.m. EST in June of 2019 on the Impact Television Network. The Impact Television Network offers a wide range of programming for its audience of over 80 million households.
Lonnie Hunter is expected to bring a new and innovative viewing experience to the faith-based community. Upcoming episodes will include not only top gospel artists but actors, barber competitions, games, comedians and an array of surprises.
Included in this one-hour variety show Hunter will introduce to his new television audience his prize-winning game segments Clues & Categories and the Talent Show that have become staples of his radio broadcast.
For years Hunter was the host of the #1 Gospel Radio Show in Chicago, ruling the morning drive time; Mon-Fri for nine years on WGCI/ Inspiration 1390. At the same time, he served as Dean of Students for one of the largest school districts in the suburbs of Chicago. After moving to the east coast, The Lonnie Hunter Show was a part of the Radio-One Network, now syndicated on the Reach Gospel Radio Network and also can be heard on uGospel Radio Weekdays 3pm – 6pm est. This award-winning gospel artist and radio host join forces with co-executive producer Greg “ Uncle G” Lyons of Uncle G Promotions &Entertainment to bring this groundbreaking show to the Impact Television Network.
