The fundraising event is inspired from the #1 international mega hit song “You Brought the Sunshine” by The Clark Sisters. The remake video of “Sunshine” with Larry Callahan & Selected of God and the Deaf Dynamic Praise Choir of San Francisco is a groundbreaking video—marking the first time the gospel music industry and the deaf and the hearing impaired communities have joined forces on a powerful and inspired music project. The video will be unveiled at the event and on the Word Network at 8:00 p.m. ET. The video premiere alongside a 30-minute television special.
The “Sunshine” video will also be included on D-PAN’s forthcoming DVD release It’s Everybody’s Music, Volume 2, which will be released this fall to the deaf and hearing audiences worldwide. Proceeds from the event will benefit D-PAN and The Way Academy’s Detroit Campus.
