Juanita Bynum Put in Jail for Failure to Appear In Civil Proceeding

It has been reported that on Thursday, April 19, 2013, Gospel Recording Artist/Preacher JUANITA BYNUM spent the night in the Lew Sterrett Justice Center after being arrested for a warrant for her failure to appear in a Dallas civil proceeding against her, according to public records.

Bynum, who now lives in  Georgia was booked at 10:30 PM on Thursday. She was then released after appearing in a Dallas courtroom earlier that day to answer questions in the case, which includes a 2007 judgment ordering her to pay $140,000 to ALW Entertainment.

ALW Entertainment is one of the largest Entertainment Promoters in the country! Bynum has yet to pay Al Wash, President/CEO of ALW Entertainment. Wash’s attorney stated, though they are hopeful that the case may finally be resolved. Wash sued Bynum for failing to perform in a play for which he paid her.

“She has disclosed the whereabouts of her assets and her business dealings,” says Entertainment Attorney David Small.
