Joshua Rogers Releases NEW MUSIC “Don’t Leave Me”

jrnewsinglecover16Season 5’s winner of BET’s Sunday Best singing competition, Joshua Rogers, has been quiet for several years, but the 20-something vocalist is ready to return to music and is beyond excited to share his story, his testimony, and new lease on life.

September 30th, Rogers will release brand new music for the first time in over 3 years via his new label home, Mixed Bag Entertainment. “Don’t Leave” me is the first single from Joshua’s forthcoming third album due out Spring 2017! The soulful, horn-driven track was produced by Grammy nominated producer Blac Elvis (Beyonce, Ciara, Usher, Smokie Norful) and written by Rogers and Felly The Voice.

Rogers shares his thoughts about the new single and says, “This song is directly about my life and it gives you just a glimpse of what my life has been like since I’ve been away from the spotlight. I’m super excited about this new song and it’s just a teaser of what my new album is going to be like. I know there has been a lot of talk about where I’ve been and what I’ve been doing, but now I’m ready to share my journey and hopefully encourage someone not to give up because no matter if you’re on stage or you have a 9 to 5, none of us are exempt from heartache and hard times.”
