With a year that has been filled with chart topping songs and ministry dates across the United States, Youthful Praise, featuring JJ Hairston, are now expanding their current album, “Resting On His Promise,” into international territories with The Takeover, an outreach revival, in Capetown, South Africa. Sharing their two current Billboard chart topping singles, “Lord You’re Mighty and “Resting On His Promise” alongside Bishop Hezekiah Walker, Kim Burrell and Bishop George Bloomer, Hairston feels confident that this opportunity is a only a glimpse into what God has for this multiple Stellar nominated group.
The opportunity to take their music ministry outside of the United States and touch the lives of South Africans through the realm of Gospel music has been a long awaited possibility for Youthful Praise, as they have remained faithful in ministry throughout the years. This international opportunity will prove to be a platform for a very pivotal time in the group’s ministry as they will not only minister through song, but give back to the communities in Capetown via organized mission efforts. “We praise God for this once in a lifetime opportunity to take His message to the people of Capetown,” shares Hairston.
Once back in the states, Hairston and Youthful Praise will hit the ground running as they continue their journey to share God’s word with people of all ages. October 29, 2010, Hairston will host a taping of 15th Street Live on TBN in New York City. Youthful Praise will serve as special musical guest for this event and seating is available to audience members on a first come, first serve basis. “God has been so faithful to each and every member of our group, exclaims Hairston.” “We must continue to rest on what God has promised us and believe that our season is here,” concludes Hairston when asked about the multi-Stellar nominations for 2011 and the current Soul Train Music Award 2010 nomination that Youthful Praise has garnered.
