The Atlanta-based black tie event is being held for the first time in Birmingham at the Alys Stephens Center, located at 1200 10th Avenue South Birmingham, AL 35294.
The nominations were announced on the heels of releasing their new single, “Run To You.” The inspirational track is described as “Mellow, mid-tempo, easy-listening and very catchy.” Jeremy warns listeners to focus on the words of the song, not just get lost in its catchy vibe. “Lyrically, this song is quite powerful! It’s not just encouraging, but it is a reminder that we don’t have to face the trials of life alone,” says Wallace.
“I will run to you, you’ll hide me. I can run to you, you’ll help me,” assures the listener of safety during tough times and can easily be added to a ministry’s Sunday morning praise & worship repertoire.
The track was previewed at a listening party last year hosted at Audiostate 55 Studios in Birmingham, AL, home of Grammy Award winning composer/producer, Dr. Henry Panion. The debut project, “Press Through,” holds 12 tracks that draws influences from contemporary and traditional gospel, but with an urban praise and worship flair.
“Press Through” has gained air play on stations in the United Kingdom, as well as on some of the top stations in the region (95.7 Jamz). “Run To You” is available on iTunes, Amazon, CDBaby, Google Play and with other online retailers. Production will begin soon to shoot the concept video for the new single.
Jeremy Wallace & Elevated Praise are not new to gospel music, they are celebrating five years in music ministry. Their 5th Anniversary Celebration, Purified: The Cleansing of the Levites is taking place from May 31- June 2 at The Full Deliverance Church of God, located at 1117 Rutledge Dr. Midfield, AL 35228.
