Recording artist Ladonna Lynn has taken a splash in the gospel music scene with her new single “He’s Able”. This gospel ballad finds Lynn singing her belief in a God that is able to meet her needs and allow her to overcome any challenge. “He’s Able” fuses R&Barrangements, a touch of Jazz improvisation & some gospel infused keyboards with vocal work from an artist whose life lines up with the words she sings.
Growing up in Brooklyn, New York La’Donna has been afforded opportunities to sing background for regional and national Jazz and R&B singers. However, in recent years La’Donna decided to use her great vocal talent to advance the cause of the gospel. Lynn’s leap of faith means that she may be foregoing paydays from artists who would love to have a background singer with her talent on their albums. However, she believes that God is able to provide for her if she will live for him.
