Half Mile Home Turns Light On The Closet

Urban Contemporary Gospel group Half Mile Home pulls the covers off of the things that go down in the closet! Often known as a place of obscurity and anonymity, the group has repurposed the closet for the place to meet God in secret for prayer, strength and courage to deal with the issues of life.  Drawing upon their own personal experiences, the room once known as the hidden den is morphed into the prayer palace and people of faith are challenged to bring all their needs  for a one on one audience with the original Master of the Universe.
Matthew 6:6 says, But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. Using scripture as the backdrop, writers Todd Burton and Dave Felder crafted this musical masterpiece to encourage people of faith to seek the Lord for direction and guidance in these days of uncertainty. “Prayer is the answer”, says Burton. If we acknowledge God, he has promised us that he would direct our paths. We wanted to share this powerful truth with everyone who would hear it
Closet hits digital and retail outlets November 19th. As Half Mile Home works to complete tracks for their upcoming album scheduled for a 2022 release.
