Half Mile Home Celebrates Five Consecutive Weeks In The Top 20 On Billboard’s Gospel Airplay Chart Sitting At No. 16 With Second Single “Thinking Of Me”

Billboard charting powerhouse contemporary Gospel trio Half Mile Home is known for their gorgeous blend of gospel and R&B sounds. The Ohio natives are celebrating five consecutive weeks in the Top 20 on Billboard’s Gospel Airplay chart with there uplifting hit song, “Thinking Of Me,” which is currently sitting at No. 16 (week ending March 18). Additionally, “Thinking of Me” has spent 29 weeks in the Top 30 on the BDS radio chart and is the second single from the group’s fourth album DON’T JUDGE ME that was released in July 2016 which debuted at No. 11 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart.

“Thinking of Me” is the follow-up to Half Mile Home’s “More Than Enuff,” the first single from DON’T JUDGE ME, which peaked at No. 11 on Billboard Gospel Singles chart. “Thinking of Me” is a heart-warming song that delivers Holy Power in triplicate through the anointed lead and harmony voices of Terence “Buttons” Burton, Darryl “Deaken” Brownlee and Todd Burton. The song is composed by brothers Terence and Todd with frequent co-writer David “Ready Writa” Felder.

In support of their new single the group is embarking on a promotional radio/press tour beginning this month hitting markets and events such as The Stellar Awards in Las Vegas, Atlanta for Babbie’s House TV appearance (April 13) and The Steeple Awards (April 22), Pensacola, FL (April 28), Cleveland, OH (May 13) and Cincinnati, OH for the I Hear Music Conference (May 19) to name a few.

Half Mile Home launched onto the scene in 2004, with their first studio album, The Movement (Malaco Records). Their second studio album, Change My Lyfe (Bungalo/Universal) was released in 2010, while the third studio album, Church Muzik & Inspiration (Church Boy Muzik/Selecto Hits), was released in 2013 and peaked at No.9 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart.
