Chicago’s very own, Grammy Nominated Worship Artist, Todd Dulaney, presents “Dulaneyland Drive-In Experience”. The former New York Mets baseball player is producing a live concert in the parking lot of Calvary Church of Naperville. He hopes that this live music worship experience will bring hope to all who are in attendance, whether they attend physically, or virtually.
“2020 is a year that has affected people from all over the world, no matter race, sex, religion, or status,” said the “Your Great Name” singer. “Who would have imagined that we would spend more than half of this year in the house, adopting new norms, because of a Pandemic? Amid that, there’s racial and political tension plaguing our country, unemployment has become the unfortunate reality for so many, and a gruesome virus has led to the premature death of thousands. This is a lot to take in, leaving so many of us hopeless, and fighting daily to maintain our mental health. I do not say this as a worship leader or psalmist, but as someone who has poured out my heart through song, and felt the presence of God inhabit me, wiping my tears away, literally turning my mourning into gladness, music is a universal language that unifies us all! Therefore, it was important for me to create an atmosphere where people could come out, and safely gather inside their vehicles, as we praise God together, knowing that He alone has the power to restore our joy, reestablish our faith, and rebuild our hope!”
