As a member of the West Angeles Church of God in Christ and a former singer for the late Rev. James Cleveland, Rushes has a deep appreciation for Gospel music and shares how she fell in love with performing Gospel on her newly released EPK. The video documents Rushes’ journey into Gospel and showcases some milestones accomplished throughout her career.
Since stepping into the forefront all on her own, Rushes has independently released four full-length projects and a holiday single, all which were produced by Carr. Her recorded music has been both a celebration of Gospel with covers of classic songs from the genre, in addition to original songs.
