“God Belongs In My City” Florida Concert Tour

 

The God Belongs In My City Prayer Walk is a national movement and statement of faith that has communities and cities banning together to not just impact their city, but bring change to their city and to the world.  This fearless call to rise up as one and not collapse under the waves of this world will be carried out on August 25 throughout the state of Florida in Jacksonville, Ocala, Orlando, West Palm Beach and Miami.

As a preface to the Florida Prayer Walks, Christian music’s hottest artists – Andy Mineo, Anthony Shepherd & The Roar, and Sheena Lee will headline the GBIMC Concert Tour.  Concerts will take place in Jacksonville on August 16th, Orlando on August 17th and in Miami on August 18th. The pre-walk concerts will also feature dynamic speakers:  Daniel Sanabria, David Ham, JJ Vasquez and special appearances by KB (Jacksonville), Benjah (Orlando), and Rhema Soul (Miami).

In 2009, a New York City youth group passionate for God saw an Atheist Advertisement campaign in the subway system which stated, “A Million New Yorkers Are Good Without God. Are You?”  They were so stirred up by this they went to their Youth Pastor who then went to his network of Youth Pastors and leaders to ask, “What are we, as the body of Christ going to do about this?”  They prayed and decided to take action and have Youth Ministries from all around the 5 boroughs hold a prayer walk wearing a simple T-shirt which stated “God Belongs in My City”.

    Once i retire I’d personally love to move to Hawaii.
