G.I. Celebrates 18 weeks on Billboard’s Gospel Airplay Top 10 Chart with their summer smash hit single “Pray and Don’t Worry” and prepares to make appearance at Atlanta’s Praise in the Park!

G.I.’s summer smash hit single “Pray and Don’t Worry” continues to climb the charts and has officially been on Billboard’s Gospel Airplay Top 10 Chart for 18 weeks! Group member Branden Anderson says, “We’ve been at this for almost 20 years next year, and who knew that a simple song that Lamonte and I started in a church service would impact the nation like this. We’re gonna start creating all of our songs in worship service.

The group is currently preparing to head to Atlanta GA  next week for Praise 102.5 FM’s Annual Praise in the Park Concert. It is being held Saturday, July 29th 12pm-8pm at the Lakewood Amphitheatre. It is poised to be one of the biggest concerts of the year with special guests such as Deitrick Haddon, Tamela Mann, Earnest Pugh, Charles Jenkins, and more!

G.I. recently announced their new record deal with Shanachie Entertainment. Shanachie Entertainment has worked with Grammy and Stellar Award Winning Artists such as Kim Burrell, Regina Belle, Mint Condition, Angie Stone, Marques Houston and Take 6 just to name a few. On August 25, 2017, Shanachie Entertainment will release G.I.’s highly anticipated 3rdstudio album entitled Winning.” Shanachie Entertainment General Manager Randall Grass says, “G.I. is one of the most impressive new gospel groups around with their breakthrough Top 10 gospel hit “Pray and Don’t Worry.” We are looking forward to taking them to the next level!” G.I. states, “We are extremely excited about joining the Shanachie family and look forward to creating unprecedented success.”
