Free Event: “Faith United: Nashville” Pre-Dove Awards Concert

flyerJelama Records, Central South Distribution and The Bellamy Group have partnered to present a special night of Worship and fellowship uniting some of Christian and Gospel music’s most gifted and decorated artists.  FAITH UNITED: NASHVILLE will be held on Monday, Oct 14 at 7PM at Cathedral of Praise Church, 4300 Clarksville Pike, Nashville, TN 37214.  This free concert is being held in celebration of the 44th Annual Dove Awards.  Jelama Records, The Bellamy Group and Central South Distribution have gathered their family of artists, their Dove Award Nominated artists and have invited a few guests artist to share in this amazing night of music.

FAITH UNITED: NASHVILLE is the embodiment of unity in faith and in music.  Nashville, TN is a mecca for Christian and Gospel music and unfortunately these genres are sometimes divided.  This event and movement is uniquely positioned to be a catalyst for unity and fellowship among artists, the industry and the Nashville community through the vehicle of music gifted to us by Christ.

The event will be hosted by Dan Willis who is the Senior Pastor of The Lighthouse Church of All Nations in Alsip, IL which is also known as Chicago’s “Bridging the Gap” Church and is one of the nation’s leading multicultural ministries with nearly seventy nationalities represented in its congregation.  Dan Willis is also the host of the Emmy Award nominated late night Christian television show on TCT Network – “I’m Just Sayin”.

Artists united for this inspiring night of worship include:  The God Father of Gospel and three time 2013 Dove Award nominee Ben Tankard and Bishop Jerry L. Maynard and The Cathedral of Praise Choir who are also 2013 Dove Award Nominees in two categories.  Rising newcomersEthan Kent noted for his radio hit “My Hope Is In Glory” and Washington DC based female vocalist/pianist Ronnette Harrison will also be performing.

Soulful singer-songwriter Chris August will also be making a special appearance.  August cemented his name in the Christian music world and earned the Texas native the coveted titles of “New Artist of the Year,” “Male Vocalist of the Year” and “Pop Contemporary Album of the Year” at the 42nd Annual GMA Dove Awards. August also had a massively popular radio single “Starry Night,” which held the No.1 spot on Billboard’s Christian / AC chart for six consecutive weeks and was the first debut single to reach No.1 on that chart in more than three years. http://www.chrisaugustmusic.com/

Bringing a touch of classic soul to the concert will be Nashville duo Joint Heirs.  Christian music veteran Veronica Petrucci and Gospel’s leading man Earnest Pugh will offer their powerful music ministries for the evening.   Nashville Worship artists Terrell Hunt and Bryan Popin are slated to set an atmosphere of praise while Urban Praiser and rapper Uncle Reece promises to worship until he passes out!  Watch Uncle Reece’s << “Until I Pass Out”>> Video.
