Fred Perry & Second Generation’s New Album The Wisdom Project  Available This Friday, April 28th

Fred Perry & Second Generation are a testimony to the benefit of hard work, perseverance and prayer in ministry. After many years of being faithful to their family music ministry and working and singing on the local and regional level, the group’s first national album release – The Wisdom Project – will be available this Friday, April 28th, at retail outlets and all digital music outlets. The album is released on their 3 Sonz Entertainment label, and distributed by Central South Distribution.

The Wisdom Project features 11 tracks including their current single, “Just Do It.”

The group recently performed at the pre-show for the second annual Steeple Chase Awards, where their soaring harmonies wowed the audience. This Sunday, they will host a CD release concert at Gospel Center Temple in Moscow, Tennessee that will feature performances by quartet groups from throughout the area.

Fred Perry & Second Generation has garnered the respect of the well-established quartet industry, including Stellar Award winner Lisa Knowles Smith who says the group represents everything that is great about quartet music. “When you hear Fred Perry & Second Generation sing, it is clear that you are listening to men who not only love Gospel music, but who love each other and who love God,” says Knowles Smith. “They are one of a kind and I am one of their biggest fans.

Fred Perry & Second Generation is comprised of Minister Fred Perry and his three sons:  Frederick 25, Jordan 19, and Isaiah 14. Hailing from the Memphis area, the group is beloved throughout the Southeast. They are the 2014 winners of Lisa Knowles’ Evolution of Quartet Showcase, 2015 winners of Esther Wooten’s Exclesisa Showcase, and they were nominated for six Rhythm of Gospel Awards in 2016 and a Triangle Award in 2017.
