Earnest Pugh and Rance Allen

Gospel crooner Earnest Pugh continues to dazzle fans with his five-octave range on his soul-stirring new radio hit, “All Things Through Christ.” The song (originally recorded by The Clark Sisters in 1976) features a cameo by Bishop Rance Allen and has entered the Billboard Hot Gospel Airplay chart at #28 with a bullet. The radio single makes its iTunes debut this week just as Pugh is embarking on a 14-city radio tour to promote the dynamic single.

This brilliant new rendition isn’t just a favorite of radio listeners either. It’s also picked up strong endorsement from the media. Washington Post pop music critic Chris Richard calls it the “slow-burning highlight” of Pugh’s current CD “The W.I.N. (Worship in Nassau Experience.” In a review in The Black Gospel Blog, Bob Marovich wrote that the album, “really grabbed my attention at `All Things Through Christ.’ This bluesy contemporary gospel, with an admitted D’Angelo flavor, features Pugh’s most inspired singing and a strong assist from Bishop Allen.”
