Grand Rapids, Michigan – While details are still limited, we ask that everyone keep Pastor Marvin Sapp, his three children and his family prayer.
Earlier today, around mid-day, Pastor Marvin Sapp’s wife, Dr. MaLinda P. Sapp, D.B.C., transitioned from this life, while at home, to her final resting place with the Lord. This follows a long bout with colon cancer that had gradually subsided but returned.
Marvin and MaLinda had been married for 15 years and have three children. Marvin and his church, Lighthouse Full Life Center Church, had also previously launched a 24 hour prayer campaign for the complete healing of MaLinda. Additionally, Marvin recently curtailed his travel and recording plans in order to be with his wife during her time of sickness.
MaLinda Sapp was Administrative Pastor alongside Marvin Sapp at their church, Lighthouse Full Life Center Church in Grand Rapids, MI. According to Melinda’s bio she was a Master’s level psychologist, licensed professional counselor, dynamic speaker and served as a college professor. She also served as manager for Marvin Sapp and had Executive Producer credits on many of his audio and video recordings.
Final details and funeral arrangements have yet to be made, but we do ask peace over the family as this is a difficult time.
