Recently, BET Networks announced it will tape the 35th and final season of “Bobby Jones Gospel”. The show is cable television’s longest running faith-based program. Throughout the years, Dr. Bobby Jones and BET welcomed gospel music’s biggest stars including Shirley Ceaser, Vickie Winans, Dottie Peoples, Byron Cage, Mary Mary, Hezekiah Walker, Donnie McClurkin and many more.

This final season of “Bobby Jones Gospel” promises to be the biggest season yet, filled with jubilant performances and mesmerizing interviews. Gospel music’s most talented entertainers, choirs, evangelists, and newcomers will appear to wish Dr. Bobby Jones well wishes and say farewell.

In a BET interview Dr. Bobby Jones had the following to say:

“I would first of all like to thank them for being our fans and for hanging in there with us for all of these years, for those who were able to do that. It’s been a marvelous experience and I’m looking forward to a continued relationship, but [for] Bobby Jones Gospel, it’s the end.”
