Just after the Rhythm of Gospel Awards, Theresa attended the 2012 En Sound Music Awards in Atlanta where she was a multiple nominee. Earlier in the month, she ministered at the Independent Gospel Artists Alliance Conference which took place last month in Chesapeake, VA. At the conference, Theresa was given the 2012 Gospel Blue M.I.C. Christian Jukebox Achievement Award presented to her by CJBRadio.com‘s founder, Simone Henry. Program Director Kevin James (pictured with Pinkney) and Henry were thrilled to honor Pinkney with the award. Theresa Pinkney, who hails from the Washington, D.C. area, attended the renowned Duke Ellington School of the Arts. A former member of the gospel ensemble, Just Breathe, and current member of Pastor Earl Miller & Purity, Pinkney brings a sincerity and sweetness to gospel music.
