Dr. Williamson is grateful and honored to represent Chicago Mass Choir and Ms. Nero during this event. She shared her gratitude towards The Gospel Music Trust Fund: “My family and I will forever be grateful to the Gospel Music Trust Fund for the financial support that assisted my dear sister, Yolanda Nero during her 14 month journey of recuperating from a double lung transplant that she received on August 26, 2007.

The support of the Gospel Music Trust Fund enabled my family and I to relieve Yolanda of all financial worries during her recuperation. My family was determined that Yolanda would not have to worry about any bills being paid during her recuperation, and our goal was achieved with the assistance of the Gospel Music Trust Fund. Yolanda made her transition to eternal rest on October 18, 2008. I truly thank God for the Gospel Music Trust Fund and all that they do to provide financial assistance to gospel artists during times of need.”
