Now Damion Murrill wants his fans to celebrate the resurrection of the Savior and the song “He Rose” with him. He is announcing the “He Rose” contest. Damion is looking for church praise teams or dance teams to tape performances of the track, “He Rose”, on Easter Sunday morning. Five finalists will receive a personal video greeting from Damion Murrill himself. The winning church will be treated to a full concert with Damion Murrill & Siloam at their home church.
Videos of the performances must feature “He Rose” and must be uploaded to YouTube. Once uploaded, fans are encouraged to post their videos on the group’s Facebook fan page for consideration. The deadline to submit videos is Monday, April 4th. Winners will be announced on Monday, April 11th. For more information on the “He Rose” contest, please call 910.338.3585.
“He Rose” is just one of the many dynamic numbers on Take A Stand. Catching the ear of the industry, the ensemble, nominated for three 2015 SFGMA Awards, took home all three awards for Best Contemporary Group/Duo, Best Gospel Choir, and Best Gospel Song for “Take A Stand”. The award recognitions keep coming with four 2016 Rhythm of Gospel nominations for Urban Contemporary/R&P CD Of The Year, Contemporary Group/Ensemble Of The Year, Contemporary Artist Of The Year and Product Packaging Of The Year.
