Byron Cage Heads Music Ministry Departments Of Two Mega-Churches, Upcoming Book, and Live Recording in Philadelphia

Byron Cage is known for some of today’s most popular church songs.  “The Presence of the Lord” and “I Will Bless The Lord” are heard Sunday after Sunday from choir stands nationwide.  The GRAMMY Award Nominee and multiple Stellar Award winner has been part of the fabric of the urban praise and worship experience for decades now.  Much of his experience has come from the mega-churches where he’s been honored to serve.

Cage has been on staff at Ebenezer AME Church in Fort Washington, MD for years.  “I have been blessed to be a part of the Ebenezer AME Church family for the past 15 years,” says Cage.  “Under the pastoral leadership of Pastors Rev. Dr. Grainger and Jo Ann Browning, I currently serve as the Senior Minister of Church Worship And Music Administration and direct the King’s Men Choir.”

In early July, the “Broken But I’m Healed” singer added another position to his already full resume.  In addition to his current position at Ebenezer, Cage was tapped as the Minister of Music at St. Paul’s Baptist Church in Richmond, VA, under the guidance of Pastor Lance Watson.  “The Lord has opened another door for me to yield my gift and anointing as Minister of Music to St. Paul’s Baptist Church,” explains Cage.  “I am so thankful to be able to share my ministry at both churches”.

As if Cage’s schedule wasn’t packed enough, he is promoting his brand new CD, Memoirs of A Worshipper. Spawning the Top 10 hit, “Great & Mighty” and featuring a guest appearance by Fred Hammond on “Victory” and a sermonic introduction by Pastor Charles Jenkins, the new release has been touted as one of the artist’s finest.  Cage is getting ready to release a brand new book on praise and worship, and will be recording a live video for his hit “Great & Mighty” in Philadelphia in October.  He’s also preparing for his first praise and worship conference to be held next year.  Look out for more information.  For more info on Byron Cage, visit www.ByronCageOnline.com.

Hey! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any problems with hackers?
My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing months of hard work due to no backup.
Do you have any methods to prevent hackers?
