Bryan Wilson to Perform with The Charleston Symphony Orchestra

Dove and Stellar Award nominated Gospel star, Bryan Wilson, is coming to The Holy City for the Charleston Symphony Orchestra’s 12th annual program, “Rejoice! A Spiritual & Gospel Holiday Celebration” with the CSO Gospel Choir.

The veteran singer rose to fame singing his dynamic rendition of “His Eye on the Sparrow” with the Mississippi Children’s Choir when he was ten years old in 1994. You Tube videos of the spine-tingling performance have amassed over 2 million combined hits. Over the years, Wilson has recorded four solo CDs and is currently finishing up his fifth CD for a spring 2013 release. Wilson’s current gospel radio single, “Expect You Now” is also making its way up the charts and is featured on his current CD, “Limited Edition” – a limited release that Wilson created for his fans until the new CD drops.

Wilson, who graduated from Claflin University (Orangeburg, SC) and spent a year doing graduate study at Princeton Theological Seminary, is more than just a singer. He’s also an evangelist. He was recently elevated to the office of Bishop within The Bapolstogic Movement, a Washington, D.C. -based 501C3 organization he founded in 2008 to merge the music and doctrine of the Baptist, COGIC and Apostolic denominations he was raised in and repackage it for Generations X, Y and beyond.

The annual Christmas program takes place November 30th and December 1st @ 7:30 pm each night at the Sottile Theatre at the College of Charleston, 44 George Street, Charleston, SC.
