Washington, D.C. – BET Television Production Studios have been overwhelmed with guests recently as Bobby Jones Gospel has been taping for its upcoming Fall and Winter season.
Special guests have been through the roof as some of Gospel’s heavy hitters have been performing and making special appearances, including Vickie Winans, The Belle, Bishop Hezekiah Walker & Love Fellowship Choir, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Rance Allen and the Rance Allen Group, Melba Moore, Byron Cage, Karen Clark Sheard, Dorinda Clark Cole, Deitrick Haddon, Half Mile Home, Melba Moore, Mali Music, Jawn Murray, Sweet Honey in the Rock and the list goes on.
Dr. Bobby Jones says, “It’s hard to believe we have been on the air this long, but with God you can do anything!”
With the assistance of Dr. Jones, you can also get a strong foothold in front of the Gospel community, as he has no problem sharing his BET stage with established and up and coming artists, including Los Angeles based, Al Mac Will, an Urban Country Gospel singer who has really found a niche for herself.
Millions watch his show every week, and based on statistics, millions will continue to watch as Dr Jones’, “Bobby Jones Gospel” remains the #1 show to watch on Black Entertainment Television.
Over the next couple of weekends, you could probably also catch numerous Gospel entertainers at BET who are scheduled for taping.
Behind the scenes, keeping this show clicking like a well oiled wheel is Joyce Coleman, Executive Talent Producer, Pat Stevens, Senior Talent Coordinator, Tia Smith, Executive Producer, Donna Foster-Dotson, Line Producer, Lynne Harris, VP Specials, Eugene Caldwell, Productions, Ty Blackmon, Staging Manager, Holla Halla who kept the crowd hyped in between shows and a team of at least 50 to 100 others.
