Bishop Marvin Sapp and Lighthouse Full Life Center Donate Bottled Water to Flint, Michigan Residents

Bishop and award winning recording artist Marvin Sapp was already scheduled to preach during a revival in Flint, MI when the news of the city’s water crisis went national. As a result, Sapp wanted to do his part to meet not just the spiritual needs of the city, but the immediate, physical ones as well.
His church, Lighthouse Full Life Center, delivered a semi-truck of more than 17,000 bottles of water to be distributed from The Church of the Harvest there last week. The truck was generously donated by Corrigan Moving Systems
“It was important for me to not only take the word, but that I take something that is tangible to the people of Flint,” said Sapp, who spoke with the Tom Joyner Morning Show about his visit to Flint.
Sapp also issued a call for those who want to donate funds for water to do so at www.marvinsapp.com, and he will match the donations dollar for dollar to lend a helping hand to our brothers and sisters in Flint.
“We can’t sit idly by and watch this take place and not do what we can to help,” he said.
