Newcomer Antonio Tucker, an 11-year old preacher and singer from Richmond Virginia, is sitting on top of the Billboard Gospel Album Sales Chart this week with his initial BGA Music Group offering “Overcome.” The album features a collection of songs that are sure to uplift your spirit, minister to your soul, and ignite your praise. “Free,” one of the featured cuts from the project, reminds listeners that Jesus Christ has removed every chain setting them free. “Overcome” reminds listeners that they will overcome every obstacle in life smply because the greater One lives on the inside. “Hold On” has already become a favorite amongst consumers. Some of the lyrics boast “cause when He comes through, He’ll work it out for you. Let go of your fear, release your faith, hold on. The “Overcome” project was penned by singer, songwriter, artist manager, and label executive Branden Anderson (known for hits such as “Pray and Don’t Worry,” “I’m Ready,” “Speak It” and “Forever We will Worship”). Producers on the project include Daniel Bryant (Tamela Mann, Tamia, G.I.) and Levi Too King (The Walls Group, DeWayne Woods). This album is a must have for the gospel music lover.
