BET’s Joyful Noise……Canceled?

According to sources, it looks like Joyful Noise maybe coming to an end after just one season! As of July 7, 2017, BET will be closing the Washington DC Office where about 20 full time employees will be losing employment as operations move to New York, NY.

“The closing of BET Network’s Washington, D.C., office has been an ongoing transition in line with our overall strategy to make New York BET’s new headquarters,” as stated by a  BET spokesperson. “We are very proud that Washington, D.C., was the birthplace of BET Networks, the first network and the premier destination for African-American audiences for the past 37 years.”

Allegedly, The moving from Washington will impact BET’s Joyful Noise Show which was hosted by. Tye Tribbett. Sad to say that this show was the 2nd lowest rated show on the BET network with a reported viewership of 13,000.
