“Be The Glow” is a response to the ominous social climate of the world today. “In these dark, dark times we must allow our light of love to shine like never before in order to keep hope alive in our world,” Burgin says of the song which was written by noted songwriter Keith Williams, a former Minister of Music at the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA where Dr. Martin Luther King once served as pastor. Mark Jackson and Samson Logan contributed to the song as well. Michael Bereal, who has collaborated with artists ranging from Shirley Caesar and Donnie McClurkin to Deborah Cox and Heather Headley, produced the uplifting track.
“This group of artists came together on the eve of Thanksgiving full of passion and love for this project,” Burgin says of the track which carries a good will message that will reverberate and remain relevant all-year round. “They sang, laughed, fellowshipped and then sat down to have Thanksgiving dinner like one big happy family. The energy in the room was amazing and the magic that they made in the studio was beyond words.”
