Under the agreement, the Gresham Company will facilitate the release and distribution of music projects from Arrow’s diverse roster of artists, including superstar Kim Burrell, GRAMMY winner Ann Nesby, and world renowned pastor Creflo Dollar, in South Africa and other African countries.
Arrow is looking to capitalize on the development of the digital platform in South Africa, among other countries on the continent, to deliver music releases that Arrow believes have global appeal, to the expanding audience.
About the deal, Arrow’s Head of International Affairs, Claude Ismael, says, “I believe that we have selected a valid partner who is very keen to introduce our upcoming projects. The David Gresham Company has been one of the most important and influential independent record distributors and publishers in South Africa for the past 20 years. This licensing deal is an important and obvious strategic achievement for us and our artists within this region. I am very proud of this venture.”
This venture marks the first of several international partnerships that Arrow is entering to further expand the fan bases of their artists in overseas markets.
