Anthony Brown & group therAPy Receive First Dove Award Nomination

After weeks of anticipation, the 44th Annual GMA Dove Awards nominees were finally announced. Much to their pleasant surprise, Tyscot recording artists Anthony Brown & group therAPy, received a nod for the debut, self-titled project. The much-heralded album is nominated in the Contemporary Gospel / Urban Album of the Year category. This is the group’s first Dove Award Nomination.

Anthony Brown & group therAPy have been creating a stir amongst gospel music enthusiasts for their innovative sound, relevant lyrics and impeccable vocals. Their 2012 debut (which features the smash hits “Testimony” and “Do It Again”) brought about a string of high profile appearances including the Mary Mary Go Get It Tour, BET’s Celebration of Gospel and most recently the Essence Music Festival.
