Assembling quite the dream team, Kelontae was creatively directed by Marquis Boone Enterprises (MBE) label head and management Marquis Boone (Casey J, Briana “Bri” Babineaux), Dallas-based celebrity wardrobe stylist and brand manager Darrell Patrick, publicist Jason Hardy and Tory Brown, photographer for Atlanta-based Elite Media Studios.
Kelontae was discovered by Marquis Boone one day after a Facebook link was sent to him of a young man [Kelontae Gavin] singing one of his favorite songs “I Won’t Complain” in his school’s cafeteria in 2014 on the last day of school; which to date has amassed over 600,000 views. It was Kelontae’s tone and vocal ability that captured Boone and he knew instantly that he wanted to work with him. Thats when the one year process started of MBE acquiring him.
