The Institute of Ministry, Arts, & Cultivation Announces 13th Anniversary Conference

Nashville has become the home of an impactful music conference that endeavors to be a unique educational resource and change agent for ministry arts.  Songwriters, musicians, pastors, record industry executives merge during the I.M.A.C. Conferences to collectively deposit relevant and innovative information to those who aspire to have careers in music and develop their ministries.

The 13th Anniversary I.M.A.C. Conference will be held October 11-13 at Mt. Hopewell Baptist Church, 2911 Stokers Lane, Nashville, TN.  The conference will feature class topics that include:  Bridging The Gap: Relationship with Pastors and Ministers of Music with Minister Tommy L. Jones; Artist Development with industry veteran Telisa Stinson; Music Industry  Roundtable with Ace Alexander (Sheridan Gospel Networks), Gina Miller (Light Records) and Derrick Lee (Bobby Jones Gospel) and Indie Artist 101 with Malcolm Williams (Songwriter/Artist).  The conference also has a yearly I.M.A.C. Honors evening with this year’s honorees Carlos Hale (Urban Soul Cafe), Nathan Young (Grammy Nominated Director/Vocal Coach/Songwriter) and Derrick Lee (Award Winning Songwriter/Musician/Producer).

“My purpose for this conference is to educate, inspire and continue to build strong relationships for this industry,” states I.M.A.C. founder Jeff Robinson.  Robinson is a minister and life coach who is native of Chicago and resides in Nashville.  He is a sought after vocalist who has contributed his vocal talents to Melba Moore, James Ingram, Dionne Warwick, Kirk Franklin, Vanessa Bell-Armstrong and so many more.  He is a cast member of Dr. Bobby Jones’ Nashville Super Choir and is featured in the current issue of Airplay 360 Magazine as one who is at the forefront of Gospel music and who is impacting change.

I.M.A.C., a subsidiary of Jet Foundation was started in 1999 by Jeff Robinson as a ‘faith-based’ institution that provides a platform for academic, artistic, professional and spiritual development by providing the attendees with experienced and knowledgeable clinicians. These experts help to sharpen and develop the skills, talents and minds of those attendees involved in similar industries, ministries or organizations.

I.M.A.C. is a non-denominational/multi-cultural institution open to ALL individuals involved in ‘faith-based’ arts and ministries. I.M.A.C. is also open to secular organizations/entities that are looking for an institution that provides educational and networking opportunities. The I.M.A.C. Conference has presented both professional and independent artists, unsigned and upcoming artists; our stage is available to any artistic forms of Christian/Gospel expression.
